BreakThru Films has been selected to participate in a 2-year program for Digital Innovation by NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) to develop new distribution strategies and find appropriate technological solutions. In this aim, we have appointed Illumina Digital and MTM as Digital Innovation Partners to support us throughout the scheme as digital service providers and consultants.

In March 2008, NESTA and the UK Film Council launched the Digital Innovation in Film program to explore, establish and disseminate novel methods of innovation support for independent UK film companies to focus on exploiting new and disruptive technologies and distribution models for their films.
