Here are our new favourite bands, who have all contributed a song to Scratch
A great new Norwegian band, from whom we expect to hear much more in the future.
The Kills are Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince. Their song “Black Balloon” was another favourite tune that Jakob found during production, and we were thrilled to be able to use it in the film.
A band who have delighted fans and critics alike with a succession of beautiful, provoking albums, they have been described by Timeout as “Acid-fried Norwegian psych-rockers”. We were listening to these albums throughout the production of the film. “Never” felt like a perfect tune to close the film with.
Selfish C * * t are a British rock band, notorious for their highly provocative lyrics, aggressive stage shows, and brutal electronic-influenced rock. They gave a blistering performance of “Feel like a Woman” in the film and won over legions more fans with their energy.
