The founder and MD of our company, Hugh won the Cinefoundation for his first film ‘Crowstone’ and produced two short films for Monty Python. Creating BreakThru Films with Alan Dewhurst in 2002, he has produced a feature-length documentary and short films, winning top festival Prizes, twice making Official Selection for Cannes and being short listed for a BAFTA. Hugh is Associate Producer on ‘Free Jimmy,’ a CGI animated film and winner of the Annecy Cristal. Hugh was producer on Peter & The Wolf and was on stage at the Academy Awards 2008 to collect the Oscar for Best Animated Short. Hugh is currently involved in the production of several projects at BreakThru, including “Sh!”, a low budget feature, and a series of animations for mobile phones.
